Artist Bio

Kyle Huntress is an Artist and Printmaker born in Cave Creek, Arizona. He received a BFA in printmaking from Northern Arizona University and earned his MFA at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. He currently resides in Seattle, Washington, printing at Printzero Studios and teaching courses at Seattle Central Community College.

Mr. Huntress’s current imagery is influenced by the ecology he encountered during his childhood in the Sonoran Desert and the violent and chaotic events of our contemporary world. His prints are exhibited nationally and are crafted utilizing traditional methods of lithography, intaglio, and woodcut.
